Empowering women and advocating for them are top priorities for Philomena Salvemini, MD. She feels that obstetrics and gynecology is the perfect forum for her to help care for women through the various stages of their lives and their daughter's lives. Dr. Salvemini enjoys all aspects of obstetric and gynecologic care but especially enjoys pediatric and adolescent gynecology, as well as managing polycystic ovarian syndrome. She wants her patients to know they are being heard and are in a safe environment. Dr. Salvemini is happy to have settled in North Carolina, where she met her husband during her residency. Together, they are the very proud parents of their children, Cannon and Vivian.
