I specialize in natural family planning, or NFP. This means that I teach and encourage patients to understand their own bodies and their own ovulatory patterns to monitor, diagnose and treat gynecologic problems. This natural approach can be used to help patients address infertility, pregnancy planning, hormonal imbalances, polycystic ovary syndrome, premenstrual syndrome, recurrent miscarriage, perimenopause, painful or heavy periods, and other issues.

I am so passionate about this holistic approach to women's healthcare because patients frequently get pushed to use hormonal contraceptives that end up having myriad side effects or complications.

My focus is on teaching patients how to work with their own fertility, as opposed to suppressing it. I am trained in natural procreative technology (NaPro Technology) and the Creighton model of natural family planning, as well as in FEMM, or Fertility Education & Medical Management.

In addition, I am a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.

I am a wife and mother of two rambunctious little boys, Gabriel and Beau. My family and I are active members of St. Gabriel Catholic Church. We enjoy playing outside and hiking with our Jack Russell terrier, Charlie. We cheer on the Carolina Panthers, even during rebuilding years, as well as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, my alma mater, who are perpetually rebuilding.
